UC Davis Equine Rehabilitation Center and Elizabeth Ramsay McCabe Teaching Pavilion
Construction for the UC Davis Equine Rehabilitation Center and Elizabeth Ramsay McCabe Teaching Pavilion is underway at the Center for Equine Health.
This state-of-the-art facility, supported by public and private funding, will provide advanced therapies to promote health and fitness for performance and recreational horses while advancing teaching, research, and outreach efforts.
The Equine Rehabilitation Center will feature:
- an in-ground underwater equine treadmill
- a dedicated stall with an equine vibration plate
- a solarium
- a covered free flow horse exerciser
The Elizabeth Ramsay McCabe Teaching Pavilion will include a covered space with audiovisual capabilities and non-slip flooring for hands-on equine teaching and outreach interactions.
