CEH donors receive an official acknowledgment of their tax-deductible gift toward equine research. Individuals who donate $1,000 or more annually qualify for membership in the Silver Stirrup Society and receive invitations to select equine donor events at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

Estate Giving
Horse enthusiasts who would like to make a significant gift toward equine research can include the CEH in their will or revocable living trust.

Endowments
An endowed gift allows for long-term planning. The principal is invested by the treasurers of the University of California and returns annual interest. Part of the annual interest is reinvested to increase the principal and part is used for the purpose intended (such as a yearly scholarship). Endowed funds can be directed to recognize the donor, horse, or any designee.
